Noticed the angry letter in The Pulse about the series and was wondering if there was any other positive or negative feedback from anyone. Or is that guy just a lone wolf?

I was wondering who I needed to talk to about making a post on the Chattanooga Film Blog.
I'm a filmmaker here in Chattanooa and I have been working with a producer in L.A. who is looking for potential investors to invest in his book that is coming out in September and the film based on the book that is in talks. This opportunity is as near to a guarantee of any investment you could ever imagine, and investors could make their investment back in two months then sit on percentage and propituity for the next ten years.
I know, it sounds to good to be true. But, this producer just wants to talk to people who are interested and let them make up their own mind. No strings attatched.
Anyway, I would like to post a summary of his book/film investment opportunity and see if there is anyone interested in Chattanooga.
Thanks!
Tom

the series is great. a film i worked on was shown last night to a sell out crowd. i believe they have all sold out which is encouraging. I was disappointed this was the only film in the series not promoted on this blog. other than the kickoff event of high school shorts, it is the only film featured in the series directed, written and produced by locals. Local projects need all the support they can get. especially from the local film community.

A regretful oversight.
This blog is updated when I have time, which I haven't had at all lately.
There was no organized effort to exclude the film.
I hope the preview article in our paper helped.

yes the article was well timed and i'm sure helped. although not sure where the writer got her info on what the film included and was about because that was not actually correct in the write-up. she didn't get a chance to speak with director or producer but, as they say there is no such thing as bad publicity. all the date place time and ticket info was correct. we appreciate the pulse big time all the time. thx.
