This sounds like a great idea! Hopefully it will begin a regular tradition.

What/Who are they showing?

A variety of short films, commercials and animation -- on actual film stock -- from the '60s and '70s. This event is being held to raise money to rent copies of older, more obscure feature-length films.

the films we are showing are a mixed bag of what we are calling "offbeat and oddball flicks": we have a VD scare film from 1942, an Alice Cooper rock film from 1972, a bettie boop cartoon (pre-hayes code) with a jazz track by cab calloway, a really beat up copy of "Marijuana" featuring sonny bono in full Golden Jumpsuited Splendor, and other assorted odd bits...
All projected ! Glorious 16mm Film!
